Washington Vice

I don't want to believe that our vice president said this, but he did:
"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice," Mr. Cheney told a crowd of 350 people in Des Moines, "because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States."
That's basically blaming people like you and I for whatever terrorist attacks might happen if John Kerry wins. That's asinine and insulting. Read the full article here:

agreed.

i feel sorry for the republican campaign managers that have to put up with these guys (bush & cheney)saying dumb things. then again, i'm sure the managers are compensated well to put up with these guys saying dumb things. so i don't feel sorry now.

and of course providing training and selling weapons to dictators with a history of human rights violations is business (saddam, indonesia etc.), while buying pot is supporting terrorism (as per anti-drug commerials). makes about as much sense as food for oil. lockheed terrorists indeed.
