My Top 5 All Time Favorite Movies

So, I've made a little change on the right, so it now shows a quote from one of my top 5 movies of all time. Those movies would be, in alphabetized order:

1. Annie Hall
2. The Big Lebowski
3. Kicking and Screaming
4. Manhattan
5. Rushmore

So, can you guess what movie that quote is from? And can you see what all these movies all have in common? They're snarky comedies. Characters and slappy dialogue are of utmost import in all these.

More quotes from all:

It was arousing...violently arousing.

Don't you see the rest of the country looks upon New York like we're left-wing, communist, Jewish, homosexual pornographers? I think of us that way sometimes and I live here.

Of course the car made it home, you're calling me at home. No, Walter, it did NOT look like Larry was about to crack!

Never in my wildest imagination did I ever dream I would have sons like these.

It's brown water! I'm paying seven-hundred dollars a month, I got rats with bongos and a, and a frog and I got brown water here.

M just got here, so I can't really got into what's so amazing about all these. But I will tell you that the writer/director of "Kicking and Screaming" co-wrote the new Wes Anderson movie, with Mr. Anderson.

Currently listening to: Beatles for Sale - which I got on the compy from my bass buddy Ben. I love the early Beatles albums. I listened to them when I was a kid, like 9 years old, and this music honestly takes me back to 4th grade. Am I nostalgic? You bet I'm nostalgic.

Never heard of Kicking and Screaming so I guess I'll have to check it out.

My favs:
Spaceballs (I don't know why, but it is)
"It's my industrial strength hairdryer and I CAN"T live without it."
Spirited Away
" Don't worry, I've got four-wheel drive. "
Dark City
" You are probably wondering why I keep appearing in your memories, John. It is because I have inserted myself into them. "
Ever After
" Some people read because they cannot think for themselves. "
The Nightmare Before Christmas
" There's children throwing snowballs / instead of throwing heads / they're busy building toys / and absolutely no one's dead!"

Not necessarily my top 5 but close enough.

i won't post my five fave movies here, but i'll post some of my favorite quotes and lines from movies.

"About all that talk about screwing up future events, the space time continuum?"
"Well, I figured, what the hell."
"the blues brothers!? sheeeeet! they still owe you money, fool!"
"hey, ladies! MONOP-POLY!"
"mmmm. this is good watermelon... tastes like poop."
"you've been banging on your pots again haven't you? you know what will happen if you keep banging on your pots? you won't have any pots left!"
"i don't like warriors! they're too narrow-minded, no sublety. worse, they fight for hopeless causes..for honor! honor has killed millions of people but hasn't saved a single one. you know what -- do I like though, i like a killer. a real dyed in the wool killer. cold-blooded. clean. methodical. thorough. a killer, when he picked up the ZF1, would've immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun."
"home. i have no home. hunted! despised! living like an animal! the jungle is my home! but i'll show the world that i can be its master. i shall perfect my own race of people... a race of atomic supermen that will conquer the world!"
